I took the kids to the playgroup this morning at the nearby community center. They had a blast (as usual) and it was so nice, Ari had to go to the washroom so I asked the one person there to watch Mel and Josh and I took her and when I came back Josh didn't even make a fuss! I was so impressed. Back in October when I first started to go he wouldn't even let me out of his sight! So it's amazing that he's finally behaving when I leave the room without him. It must mean he feels comfortable there. I'm so glad.
Last night Lee and I were talking about what to do with Mel and Ari this summer and I suggested it would be fun for them to join the half-day daycare at Storybook Gardens which is $60 per kid. It's from 9am-12pm so it's not a long time but long enough to get some playing in and I can get some good 1 on 1 with Joshua. But we'll see what happens.
Oh, I got a summons today to go to court as a witness. I saw a pick-up truck going down the 401 with two kids hanging out the back! So I called the OPP and they pulled them over. Fortunately the kids were turned around by the time the OPP got them pulled over but I'm needed as a witness because the cops didn't actually see them. Which is probably why buddy is fighting it. *rolleyes*
